Sally Hansen Love

Do you want a range of colours that are pretty chip-resistant which come at drugstore prices? I thought you might.

Let me introduce you to the world of Sally Hansen. I’m sure lots of you are already familiar, but I’ve only welcomed these top-notch polishes into my vanity cabinet about six months ago.

From the very first application, I instantly fell in love. I have never found another nail polish which glides on so easily. Gone are the days of peeling off dried polish from my cuticles. One stroke of these leaves a highly-pigmented, stay-all-day colour.

My favourite range from the brand is their “Complete Salon Manicure” which comes as a very reasonable £6.99. It boasts seven benefits in a bottle, including growth treatment and a gel shine finish. I rock the shade “All Fired Up” which is a gorgeous, orangey-red. I have been asked at work whether they are professional and shellac – so that’s all the endorsement needed!

I also use the nail strengthener and fast drying topcoat but, in all honesty, you could easily go without these.

What are your favourite nail polish brands?

Blogmas Day 4: My festive nails (office friendly!)

20151204_142036.jpg

Today is only going to be a quick post (apologies – working full time and blogging doesn’t always go hand in (manicured) hand!)

Last night I fancied a splash of colour on my nails and so grabbed my Riding Hood polish from Tanya Burr. I applied this in two coats and then went for the H&M Time to Shine (not currently in stock online)This is a glittery shade which looked silver from the packet but actually appears more golden when applied. Still, very festive.

And to finally top things off and protect my new sparkling nails I applied a single coat of the Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat.

Just watch what you touch as this combination takes a while to dry. But it is so worth it!

Send me your festive nails!

(20 sleeps to go)
